IT Assistant Manager for Development Projects

I’m looking for someone who can slide seamlessly between high-level coordination and hands-on coding to keep my software development work running smoothly. On a typical day you’ll be breaking down client requirements into clear tasks, checking in with our freelance developers, and jumping into the codebase yourself whenever a blocker appears. You’ll also be the friendly face our clients hear from when they need a progress update or have a change request, so solid written and spoken communication is essential.

You’ll need real fluency in JavaScript, Python, and Java—enough to review pull requests, set up quick prototypes, or troubleshoot production issues without missing a beat. Familiarity with Git, agile tools like Jira or Trello, and cloud platforms (AWS or similar) will help you hit the ground running.

Deliverables I expect:
• Weekly sprint plans agreed with the team and shared with the client
• Mid-sprint technical support and code reviews that keep velocity high
• Concise client status reports at the end of each sprint with next steps clearly outlined
