I’m building a colorful, nostalgia-infused fantasy MMORPG that uses a 2:1 isometric view with a tight 32 × 16 px ground-tile grid and upright character sprites. To give the world life, I need a unified set of environment tiles and props that respect this grid, read clearly at small sizes, and feel both retro and fresh.
Scope of work
You’ll create complete, loop-ready tilesets plus matching props and animated details for the following biomes and spaces:
• Forests
• Towns (interior & exterior)
• Dungeons
• Deserts
• Swamps
• Caves & Ice Caves
• Beaches & shoreline transitions
• Building interiors with walls (e.g., taverns, shops, housing)
• Prison cells and corridors
Each tileset should include ground variations, cliffs/walls, water or lava edges where relevant, key decor (foliage, furniture, torches, etc.), and seamless transitions between adjacent biomes. Assets must remain consistent in palette, perspective, and line weight so players feel they’re exploring one coherent world.
Technical guidelines
• True 2:1 isometric angle; every ground tile aligns to 32 × 16 px.
• PNG format, indexed or RGBA, ready for immediate engine import.
• Name files logically for easy reference (e.g., forest_tree01.png).
Acceptance criteria
1. All tiles snap perfectly to the grid without visible seams.
2. Props and walls align with character origin at tile center.
3. Palette remains vibrant yet readable on both light and dark monitors.
4. Final delivery packaged by biome, zipped, with a simple demo mock-up per set confirming alignment.
If you love classic MMORPG art and can infuse it with a distinctive touch, I’m eager to see your portfolio and discuss timelines.
