I am rolling out a new IP-based CCTV network that must protect both indoor and outdoor areas of our facility. The job begins with a full site survey—virtual walk-throughs and existing floor plans are available—to map optimal camera positions, cabling routes, and NVR locations.

Because the entire backbone will run on Ethernet, you will need to size and specify PoE switches, storage capacity, and any wireless bridges needed for hard-to-reach exterior zones. Once the bill of materials is approved, I expect you to handle or oversee physical installation, perform all network configuration (subnetting, VLANs, port-forwarding for secure remote viewing), and fine-tune the VMS so live and archived footage streams smoothly from every camera.

Acceptance criteria
• Complete coverage of all designated indoor rooms, corridors, perimeter fences, and parking lots with no dark spots.
• Crystal-clear, lag-free feeds on our central monitor wall and mobile app.
• Handover package: as-built drawings, IP table, admin credentials, and a quick-start guide for our staff.

Experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, or Axis and familiarity with ONVIF compliance will be highly valued, but I am open to your preferred hardware as long as it meets the performance targets outlined above.
