I’m building a brand-new golf simulation for iPhone and iPad and need a developer who can take the idea from prototype to App Store release. The gameplay should feel as close to real golf as we can make it on mobile, so physics accuracy, swing mechanics, and course environments matter a lot.
Core scope
• Build natively for iOS (latest Swift, Metal or preferred graphics framework).
• Prioritise realistic graphics—lush fairways, dynamic lighting, accurate ball flight, and subtle terrain physics.
• Integrate real-time multiplayer so friends can tee off together in head-to-head matches or quick tournaments over Game Center or a comparable solution.
While the first release focuses on authenticity and smooth online play, I’m open to layering in cosmetic extras such as character customisation once the core experience is rock solid.
Acceptance criteria
1. Full 18-hole course playable on recent iPhone and iPad hardware at 60 fps.
2. Peer-to-peer or server-based multiplayer lobby with basic matchmaking and in-game chat.
3. Physics engine validated against real-world club and ball data (carry, spin, roll).
4. Passed TestFlight rounds with zero critical crashes and memory leaks.
5. All source code, assets, and build instructions handed over in a Git repository.
If you have shipped polished 3D iOS games before, especially sports titles, I’d love to see your work and talk through your approach to graphics optimisation and networking.
I have all the drone footage and hole graphics ready to go as you can see in the attached.
