I’m ready to extend my web-based survey platform into fully fledged iOS and Android apps, purpose-built for smartphone users. The goal is a smooth, intuitive experience that lets respondents complete surveys on the go while feeding results straight back to my server in real time.
Key requirements
• Real-time data collection: every answer should sync instantly when the device is online, with graceful handling of spotty connections so no response is lost.
• Customisable survey templates: I create and modify templates in the admin back-end; the app must pull the latest structure via API and render it automatically.
• Question formats: multiple-choice, open-ended text and rating scales are all supported, so the UI needs flexible components that can be mixed within a single survey.
Scope of work
You’ll architect and code the mobile front-end, connect it securely to my existing REST/GraphQL endpoints, and prepare builds ready for App Store and Google Play submission (including TestFlight / internal testing). Whether you prefer native Swift/Kotlin or a cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native is up to you—what matters is performance, maintainability and a clean codebase I can extend later.
Deliverables
1. Complete source code with clear project structure and build instructions
2. Signed release builds for iOS (IPA) and Android (AAB) suitable for store upload
3. README or short video walkthrough covering setup, configuration of API keys, and how to add new question types or templates
4. Post-delivery support for initial store approval fixes (bug or compliance issues)
Acceptance criteria
• A sample survey created in the back-end appears in the app within 60 seconds of publishing.
• Submissions arrive on the server with no duplicate or missing answers after at least 100 consecutive offline/online switches during testing.
• UI is fully functional on iPhone SE, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Pixel 5 and Galaxy S22 screen sizes.
If this aligns with your expertise, let’s get started—I’m happy to share API docs and staging credentials as soon as we agree on the approach.
