Investment Policy Statement Data Coding

We are seeking a graduate student (Master's or PhD level) in Economics, Finance, or a related field to assist with an immediate content analysis project.

The project involves reading 18 Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and manually extracting/coding a set of 47 predefined variables for each document into a structured spreadsheet tracking matrix (layout is already finalized and will be provided). The variables cover asset allocation limits, risk parameters, benchmark structures, and governance rules.

Because an IPS requires a firm grasp of institutional investing, portfolio management concepts, and financial terminology, advanced training in finance or economics is required.

Scope of Work & Timeline:
• Immediate Start: Looking to hire within the next week.
• Firm Deadline: All 18 documents must be fully coded within two weeks of hiring.
• Review Process: Complete a pilot coding of 1 document for review and alignment before completing the remaining 17.
Required Qualifications:
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Absolute familiarity with institutional investing terms.
