Every 10 minutes, 18 million conversations happen between businesses and consumers around the world.
For decades, the consumer side of those conversations sucked: long queues, robotic menus, repeated explanations, and advice that is often unhelpful. Most people today still cannot simply say what their problem is in natural language when communicating with businesses.
AI changes that. For the first time, companies can have natural conversations with customers at massive scale. Every B2C company - from energy providers to telcos to insurers - will use AI agents to talk to their customers. The number of conversations businesses will handle is going to explode in the coming years.
At telli, we are solving the challenges that come with that shift. Today, leading B2C companies like Sky are already using telli to deploy thousands of voice agents to provide their customers with a new experience. But building a first voice agent is easy, getting it to drive real outcomes for customers and businesses is the hard part. telli helps companies build, deploy, and improve consumer-facing AI voice agents at scale. This will become one of the most important software categories of the next decade, and we intend to win it.
We are a small, AI-pilled team that likes to solve hard problems. Be it engineering, product, or GTM - we build, experiment, and move fast, while heavily leveraging the capabilities of AI models. All of us like to challenge ourselves and take real ownership over what we do, all while still staying humble and keeping a low-ego culture.

mission
As the Founders’ Office Intern (Talent) at telli, you’ll work right alongside the founding team on the thing that decides how fast we grow: hiring. You’ll have a front-row seat to how an early-stage AI company builds its team and a very hands-on role in finding, assessing and closing the people who join us next. Your focus is talent, with the option to grow into broader ops and strategic projects in the founders’ office over time.
what you’ll do:
help us build the hiring engine behind telli’s growth
spot outlier candidates through LinkedIn, Juicebox, communities, referrals and new channels you come up with
write signal-based outreach that gets replies, and don’t take a plain “no” for an answer
run first interviews: assess fit quickly and pitch telli to the best candidates
own hiring pipelines across teams, from outreach to offer, and keep hiring managers and interviewers aligned
track the funnel per role, spot friction like unusual drop-off rates and fix it
build automations and AI workflows, e.g. for sourcing, messaging, interview prep and candidate coordination
help shape how telli shows up as an employer, through job posts, social content and events
once you’ve got hiring running, pick up first ops and strategic projects alongside the founders’ office
work closely with Dat, Ennie & the founding team

you can sell: you get people excited about an opportunity and handle objections
you take ownership, move fast and follow up with urgency
you’re data-minded, tech- & AI-savvy and pick up new tools fast
you communicate clearly and top-down in English and German
you have first experience in recruiting, sales, a startup or your own projects
you could imagine joining full-time after the internship
you may not make a good fit if:
you’ve never used AI or automation tools and aren’t keen to learn
you don’t get excited about finding the people who’ll shape telli’s next chapter
you find it hard to keep many candidates and interviewers moving at once
you’d rather wait for instructions than pick up the phone and follow up yourself
you’re only looking for a typical 9–5 internship
Compensation: €3K – €5K per month
