We are looking for an experienced international shipping/customs professional to help with an immediate outbound shipping need and ongoing international shipping support.
The immediate shipments are from the United States to the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore, with approximately 3–8 cartons of merchandise and media per destination.
We need someone who can:
- Review shipment details before we ship
- Identify required customs/import documentation
- Review or help prepare commercial invoices
- Validate HS codes, product descriptions, country of origin, declared values, and Incoterms
- Identify Importer of Record or destination-specific requirements
- Help us determine the proper carrier/broker workflow
- Help prevent customs delays before shipment
- Assist if a shipment is held in customs or additional documentation is requested
We primarily ship internationally using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL/APC, and freight providers.
This is not intended to be a one-time job. We are looking for someone we can continue working with for future international B2B and Special Projects shipments.
Applicants must have experience supporting shipments to the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore. Please briefly describe your experience with these destinations in your proposal.
Please also include:
- Your estimated hours for reviewing and supporting the initial shipments
- Whether any brokerage or customs-clearance fees would be charged separately from your hourly rate
- Your availability to begin immediately
We are looking for someone who can provide practical, hands-on guidance and help us get these shipments prepared correctly and moving without unnecessary customs delays.
