I’m building a lightweight yet secure online service that lets private individuals move money across borders with ease. The whole focus is personal use—not corporate payments—so the user journey has to feel friendly, fast, and transparent.

First release must cover international corridors only, supporting USD, EUR, and GBP on both the send and receive side. I’ll need:

• A compliant KYC / AML onboarding flow (ID upload, selfie match, sanctions screening).
• Real-time FX rate retrieval and margin application.
• Ability to fund via bank ACH / SEPA and to disburse to beneficiary bank accounts using standard rails (SWIFT, Faster Payments, SEPA).
• Dashboard showing transfer history, status tracking, and downloadable receipts.
• Admin console for limits, flags, and manual review.
• REST or GraphQL API so that a mobile front-end can be plugged in later.

Please build the backend (preferred stack: Node.js or Python with PostgreSQL), secure the endpoints, and deliver a minimal responsive web interface to prove the flow end-to-end. Production-ready polish isn’t required yet, but architecture must be solid, readable, and easy to extend to other currencies later.

Acceptance criteria
1. A test user can register, pass KYC, initiate a USD→EUR transfer, and see funds “delivered” in sandbox mode.
2. All sensitive data in transit is TLS-protected; at rest is encrypted.
3. Error handling covers insufficient balance, failed compliance checks, and network timeouts gracefully.
4. Clear README with setup, environment variables, and sample cURL calls.

Looking forward to working with someone who’s already dealt with payments, FX, or banking integrations and can move quickly while keeping compliance in mind.
