I am looking for someone to assist me with the development and presentation of my interior design thesis project. The work should focus on strengthening the project both visually and technically, while maintaining a consistent design concept throughout.
1. Presentation & Graphic Development
* Improve the overall thesis presentation and make it more graphically strong, professional, and visually appealing.
* Develop a consistent presentation style, including layouts, typography, colour palette, diagrams, icons, and graphics.
* Improve the visual representation of case studies, research, concept development, and site analysis.
* Create clear diagrams, infographics, mappings, and other graphical elements wherever required.
* Organise the overall presentation so that the project has a clear visual narrative from research and concept to the final design.
2. Site Analysis & Case Studies
* Graphically develop the site analysis, including site context, accessibility, surroundings, climate/environmental considerations, opportunities, constraints, etc.
* Improve and visually present relevant case studies and precedents.
* Extract important design strategies from the case studies that can be applied to the thesis proposal.
3. Community Master Plan / 2D Layout
* Develop a proper 2D master plan/layout for the complete community.
* Plan the positioning and relationship between different units/containers, community spaces, circulation, landscape/open spaces, and common facilities.
* Develop the layout considering functionality, accessibility, privacy, interaction, and efficient use of space.
4. Detailed 2D Drawings
* Develop detailed 2D drawings for the selected unit/container.
* Floor plan
* Furniture layout plan
* Space planning and internal circulation.
* Proper furniture placement and dimensions.
* Other essential drawings/details required to clearly communicate the interior design proposal.
5. 3D Development & Visualization
* Develop a 3D model of the complete community/master plan to show the overall spatial experience.
* Develop a detailed 3D model of one selected container/unit.
* Show the interior design, furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and spatial character of the selected unit.
* Produce suitable views/renders for the final thesis presentation.
6. Material & Construction Details
* Develop a suitable material palette for the project.
* Provide material specifications and details wherever required.
* Suggest materials based on durability, affordability, availability, aesthetics, and environmental impact.
* Explain how the selected materials and construction methods contribute to the overall design concept.
7. Sustainability
* Develop and explain the sustainable approach of the project.
* Explore strategies such as reuse/adaptive use of containers, energy efficiency, natural ventilation and daylight, sustainable materials, water management, waste reduction, and passive design strategies where applicable.
* Graphically represent the sustainability strategies through diagrams.
8. Cost Analysis
* Prepare an approximate cost analysis/budget breakdown for the proposed design.
* Include major elements such as container/unit development, interiors, furniture, materials, finishes, services, and other relevant components.
* Explore ways of making the proposal economically feasible and cost-effective without compromising the design concept.
