Intergenerational Badminton: Kids & Adults 50+

I would like to discuss my project idea for the B-Trainer Breitensport project work.

My idea is to create a regular intergenerational badminton session on a day of every month, bringing children and adults aged 50+ together for training and playing activities. The children would have the opportunity to play with and against more experienced adult players, exposing them to different playing styles and challenging them to improve their adaptability, communication, doubles positioning and tactical decision-making. In general playing slot most players don't want to play with children as they make mistakes often and also because of huge waiting time to play next game. So they want some good games of their level.

At the same time, the adults 50+ would have an opportunity to stay active, meet other people of a similar age and playing level, and develop stronger social connections within the club. Most adults feel ignored and hard to interact with young players. They also feel hard to play with most competitive players.Through this project idea they can build a new community and maintain good relationship among the players of their level and age. They can teach their skills to children.
