I need a web experience that lets visitors design their own packaging in real time and then send the result straight to our sales team for quoting. The heart of the site is a browser-based configurator where a user can:
• choose the exact material and finish we offer (matte, gloss, eco-friendly stock, specialty laminates, etc.)
• apply their own artwork, colours, and branding, seeing the changes update instantly in 2D or 3D
• download or automatically attach a print-ready proof when they submit a quote request
On top of the configurator, the site should carry the usual content pages—company background, manufacturing capabilities, a gallery of completed work—and remain fully responsive so it feels smooth on desktop, tablet and mobile. I’m comfortable with modern stacks such as React, Vue, Three.js/WebGL, or a lightweight game engine if that streamlines the live preview; the final choice is up to you as long as performance stays high and maintenance remains straightforward for our in-house team.
The custom designs will feed into our existing quoting workflow. A completed session should arrive in our inbox (or API endpoint) with: customer contact details, selected specs, a flattened artwork PDF, and any extra notes the buyer adds. Security is important, so make sure files clear basic virus scanning before they reach us.
When you reply, please include links to past work that proves you have already shipped interactive product builders, 3D or 2D configurators, or similarly complex front-end projects. I’ll review those first, then set up a call to talk timeline and milestones.
