Freelance Frontend Designer — Overture Website Redesign
Remote · Fixed-price project ·· Delivery by 12 November 2026
Overture helps experienced professionals explore career pathways grounded in their experience and research businesses where they could contribute.
We’re looking for a frontend designer to redesign our public website, myoverture.xyz, making the product clear within seconds through thoughtful design, interactive demonstrations and purposeful motion.
The project
Design four public-facing pages:
- Homepage: Show the journey from someone’s own words to possible career pathways and researched businesses.
- AI Guidance: Explain what people provide, the guidance they receive and how they can use it.
- Ongoing plans: Compare options and explain how ongoing research works.
- Request an invite: Explain the invitation process and what happens after submission.
The website should clearly distinguish career possibilities from vacancies or promises, and show that users retain control over decisions and outreach.
First milestone
Start with two distinct homepage concepts, then develop the selected direction into:
- Desktop and mobile designs.
- A working React prototype demonstrating the key interactions.
Please quote this milestone separately from the three follow-on page designs. This is a design engagement with an interactive prototype as a deliverable.
Design direction
Build on Overture’s existing v6.1 product interface, using Manrope and Instrument Sans, a neutral palette and burnt-orange actions.
We’re looking for a clear, product-led visual direction with visible network connections and motion that helps explain the experience. Avoid editorial styling. Use Three.js only where it adds clarity to an interaction.
The supplied stack is Next.js, React, React Aria Components and Tailwind CSS.
Who we’re looking for
A designer with strong experience in interactive product websites, responsive layouts and React prototyping. You should be able to turn a complex product into a clear visual story and use motion with purpose.
Strong work may lead to a separate platform design engagement.
How to apply
Please include:
- Two live examples of interactive product work.
- Your specific contribution to each.
- A fixed price and timeline for the homepage milestone.
- A separate quote for the three follow-on pages.
- Confirmation of your availability to deliver by 12 November 2026.
