Interactive Flooring Quote Tool

On plancherflottantfor.ca I want every flooring product page to offer a seamless “select-and-quote” experience inspired by the flow on https://plancher2000.ca/pages/soumission. Visitors should be able to tick a checkbox beside any flooring product, choose up to three items, and instantly see those selections gathered in a floating panel or dedicated section of the page.

Inside that panel the following must happen automatically:
• Thumbnail images of each chosen product display in the order selected.
• A calculator asks the visitor for the room’s square footage (or length × width) and returns:
– number of boxes required (using each product’s sq ft / box)
– estimated waste in square feet (a simple configurable % add-on)
• The same area turns into a quote request form, pre-populating the product names, SKUs and calculated quantities. It also collects the user’s contact details (name, phone, email) plus an open “Additional notes” field for any special instructions.

Key requirements
1. Checkbox selection only; no drag-drop or cart workflow.
2. Hard limit of three concurrent products.
3. Seamless styling with our current theme so the panel feels native on desktop and mobile.
4. Data from the form must arrive in my inbox and be stored in the site’s back-office for future follow-up.
5. Clear validation and success feedback to the user.

Deliverables
• Front-end component (HTML / CSS / JS) for the product pages.
• Calculator logic tied to each product’s “sq ft per box” attribute.
• Back-end hookup for email + database entry.
• Step-by-step installation notes so I can replicate it on new products later.
