Intense Biography Cover Design

My upcoming book is a biography drawn from real-world episodes of sabotage, espionage, counter-intelligence, cyber intelligence, and hybrid warfare. The narrative is factual, high-stakes, and I need the cover to reflect that same serious, intense atmosphere without drifting into sensationalism.

Here is what I’m after:
• A front, back, and spine design suitable for standard 6"×9" print with bleed, plus a separate e-book version.
• Visual direction that communicates gravity—think strong typography, restrained colour palette, and imagery that hints at covert operations rather than showing them literally.
• Two initial concepts so we can test different visual approaches, followed by iterative revisions until the final artwork feels right.
• Final deliverables in print-ready PDF, high-res JPEG/PNG, and the editable source file (PSD, AI, or InDesign).
