About Kervigo
Kervigo Private Limited (Kervigo.com) provides insurance back-office support for independent P&C (property & casualty) insurance agencies. We handle the operational work that keeps agencies running smoothly: policy processing, endorsements, renewals, and certificate of insurance (COI) issuance. Our goal is to help agency owners clear their processing backlogs, speed up turnaround times, and free up their in-house staff to focus on client-facing work instead of paperwork.
We're a small, growing team built on real hands-on experience in insurance operations. We're now looking to expand our client base and need someone skilled at outreach and persuasion to help us get there.
The role, in detail
This is a pure sales development / lead generation role. You are not responsible for onboarding, contract signing, or service delivery; our team handles all of that once a client says yes. Your job is specifically to:
Identify and reach out to independent insurance agencies (our primary markets are the US, UK, and Canada)
Introduce our services and explain how we help agencies with back-office processing
Handle objections, answer basic questions about what we do, and build enough trust and interest that the agency agrees to move forward
Hand off the confirmed lead to our team for onboarding
Once we've confirmed the client is real and ready to proceed (either through a signed agreement or their first payment, whichever we agree on together), your part of the job is complete and you get paid.
How you'll be paid, explained clearly
This is a commission-only role. There's no base salary or hourly pay. You earn a flat $300 for every client you bring in that gets confirmed and onboarded. There's no cap. If you bring in five clients in a month, you earn $1,500 that month. If you bring in none, you earn nothing that month. This structure exists because we're an early-stage company and this is how we can offer a meaningful reward without fixed payroll risk on either side. It also means your earning potential is entirely in your own hands, the more effective your outreach, the more you earn.
What we expect from you
Genuine experience doing B2B outreach, whether that's cold email, cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, or a mix
Ability to write and speak persuasively and professionally. Remember, you'll be representing our company's name and reputation directly to prospects, so tone and professionalism matter a lot
Self-direction. We're not going to assign you a script or dictate your exact process. Use the tools, platforms, and methods you're already comfortable with
Basic reliability in communication with us. We just want to know how things are going, not detailed hour-by-hour reporting
Insurance industry background is helpful, since it makes conversations with agency owners easier, but it is absolutely not required. We'll give you enough context about our services and the common pain points agencies face so you can speak knowledgeably even without prior insurance experience.
What we'll provide you
A dedicated company email address so you can conduct outreach as a representative of Kervigo
Full context on our services, target client profile, and common objections, so you're equipped to have real conversations, not just cold pitches
Responsiveness from our side. If you have questions mid-conversation with a prospect, we'll be available to help you close the loop
Who this is a good fit for
This role suits someone who's comfortable with performance-based pay, enjoys the challenge of persuasion and outreach, and wants to build a track record while earning uncapped commission. It's especially well-suited for freelancers already doing SDR or lead-gen work who want to add another client to their rotation, or someone early in a sales career looking to build real experience and a portfolio of results.
If this sounds like a good match for how you like to work, we'd like to talk.
This version gives candidates a much clearer picture of expectations, payment mechanics, and role boundaries before they even apply, which should reduce mismatched applicants and back-and-forth later. Paste this in and let me know what comes next.
