I need a simple, lightweight Android app that lets any of my staff snap a photo of a purchase receipt the moment the transaction is complete. The flow should be: open the app, point the camera, tap once, and the image is automatically cropped for a clean edge-to-edge view of the receipt. Immediately after capture the app must generate an email—pre-addressed to our office accounting inbox—and attach the cropped image (JPEG or PNG is fine). No files should be stored on the device once the email is successfully queued or sent.
Before the email is sent, there needs to be a text box pop up so a freetype reason for purchase can be entered and that text is included in the email
Minimum deliverables:
• Signed release APK ready for side-loading
• Clean, well-commented source (Android Studio / Kotlin or Java)
• Brief setup notes for rebranding the recipient email address in the future
Acceptance will be based on:
1. Photo auto-crop accuracy around the receipt edges.
2. Reason for purchase entered
2. Email generated with the receipt attached and the reason included in the email
3. App launches and completes the workflow in under 10 seconds on an average mid-range Android handset.
