I have some raw wedding footage for a personal project and I’m looking for an experienced video editor who can turn it into a polished, high-energy, Instagram-ready vertical reel.

I’m looking for someone who understands modern wedding/party reel editing, with strong attention to pacing, transitions, colour, music, and overall visual flow.

What I Need

1. Edit raw wedding footage into a smooth, engaging vertical reel
2. Create a strong flow between shots with good pacing and storytelling
3. Use AI-assisted video editing and advanced AI transitions
4. Create seamless, creative transitions that match the movement, rhythm, and mood of each shot
5. Add tasteful speed ramps, motion effects, zooms, whip transitions, match cuts, etc. where appropriate
6. Professional cinematic color grading
7. Sync cuts and transitions with the music/beat
8. Add sound effects that match the party/wedding atmosphere
9. I will provide the royalty-free music
10. Keep the editing energetic, premium, and visually engaging without overusing effects

I’m not looking for a direct copy. I want someone who can understand the editing style and create a similar level of polish using my own footage.

Editor Requirements

AI-assisted video editing experience is required.

You should be comfortable using modern AI video/editing tools to create high-quality transitions and effects when they genuinely improve the footage.

More importantly, I want an editor with good creative judgement. Not someone who simply applies random AI transitions or templates.

Long-Term Opportunity

This is not necessarily a one-time project.

I’m looking for a reliable long-term video editor because I may have more reels and other video-editing projects in the future.
