Instagram Content Creator / Reels Editor – Skincare Brand

I’m looking for a creative and reliable Instagram content creator/video editor to work with my skincare brand, on an ongoing basis.

This is not a social media management or marketing strategy role. I already have the brand direction, product photography, UGC videos and content ideas. I’m looking for someone who can take these existing assets and turn them into polished, engaging Instagram content that fits the brand aesthetic.

I will provide a library of content including:

UGC/customer videos
Product photography
Lifestyle photography
Brand assets and logos
Product information
Brand aesthetic and creative direction
Content ideas where appropriate

You will also occasionally source suitable royalty-free stock footage, ingredient imagery/video, quotes or other complementary content to help create posts.

Your work may include:

Editing and cutting existing UGC footage into engaging Instagram Reels
Selecting the strongest moments from longer UGC videos
Adding music, captions, text overlays and simple transitions
Creating Reels from product photography and video
Creating simple, elegant static posts or carousels
Sourcing suitable royalty-free footage/images of skincare ingredients, nature, textures or lifestyle scenes
Finding relevant quotes or content ideas that fit the brand
Repurposing existing content into new posts
Preparing finished content in Instagram-ready 9:16 / 4:5 formats

I am aiming for approximately 1–2 Instagram posts per week, with a mixture of reels and other content.

Brand aesthetic is premium, warm and mindful skincare aesthetic.

The content should feel:

Elegant and sophisticated
Warm and feminine
Natural
Minimal
Premium rather than overly commercial
Calm and visually beautiful
Modern but not overly trendy

Good visual taste is extremely important to me.

I am not looking for generic Canva templates or overly busy social media graphics. Content should feel consistent with a premium skincare/beauty brand.

I would like to begin with approximately 3-4 hours per month as a paid trial so we can see how well we work together and assess the quality and style of the content.

If I am happy with the work, I would like to gradually increase the hours and potentially develop this into a long-term ongoing role, initially around 10+ hours per month and potentially more as the brand grows.

I am particularly interested in finding one person who can learn the Mantra Skin aesthetic over time and become my regular content creator rather than hiring different freelancers for individual posts.

You would ideally have experience with:

Instagram Reels
CapCut and/or similar video editing software
Adobe Express/Canva
Beauty, skincare, wellness or lifestyle content
UGC editing
Selecting music/audio for Reels
Creating clean text overlays and captions
Sourcing high-quality royalty-free visual content
Experience with AI creative tools

I’m particularly interested in seeing examples that demonstrate your visual style and ability to turn relatively simple footage into polished, premium-looking content.

I’m looking for someone who is creative, efficient, responsive to feedback and interested in building an ongoing working relationship with the brand.

This is initially a small paid trial project. If I am happy with the quality, aesthetic and communication, I would like to move to regular ongoing work of approximately 1–2 pieces of Instagram content per week and can then arrange an ongoing hourly or monthly agreement.
