I’m ready to take my manuscript live on both IngramSpark and Amazon KDP and need an experienced book designer to guide the entire production process. Once we begin our private chat I’ll provide the full manuscript, trim size preference, and any existing artwork; from there I’m counting on you to prepare compliant, press-ready files and walk them through upload.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Polishing the interior layout so it meets each platform’s print and digital specifications (margins, bleed, fonts, image resolution, embedded fonts, color profiles).
• Creating – or adapting – a professional cover that satisfies template dimensions, barcode placement, and spine width requirements.
• Supplying separate deliverables for print (PDF/X-1a) and e-book (EPUB/MOBI) where applicable.
• Troubleshooting any pre-press or upload warnings on IngramSpark and KDP until both dashboards show “Ready to Publish”.
Please highlight past titles you’ve successfully shipped through these platforms, the software you prefer (InDesign, Affinity, Vellum, etc.), and your typical turnaround. If you’ve mastered both standard and hardcover formats even better.
Final acceptance: all files must pass each platform’s preflight checks and be cleared for distribution without error messages. I look forward to collaborating and getting this book into readers’ hands.
