IngramSpark Hardback Cover Formatting

I’m preparing a children’s book for print on IngramSpark and I need the cover files professionally set up to their exact hardback specifications. I already have the artwork and key design elements picked out, but I’m unsure of the precise trim, spine width, and bleed measurements for the final template.

What I’m looking for is a designer who knows IngramSpark’s latest hardcover requirements inside-out and can translate my existing front, back, and spine art into a single, press-ready PDF (or native file if preferred) that will pass their pre-flight check the first time. Your file should include the correct barcode placement, wrap-around bleed, and any spot finishes noted clearly in the layers so I can approve it quickly.

Deliverables:
• IngramSpark-approved print-ready file (PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4)
• Source file with editable layers (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Affinity)
• Confirmation of the exact dimensions you used so I can reuse them for future print runs

I’ll supply the final artwork, ISBN, and back-cover copy as soon as we start. If you’ve recently formatted children’s hardcover dust jackets or case-laminate covers on IngramSpark, I’d love to see a sample.
