I have a custom industrial transformer laid out in a hand sketch that shows overall footprint, component locations, and mounting details. I now need that information turned into shop-ready CAD.
The key deliverable is a set of manufacturing drawings with dimensions. Specifically, I want an overall assembly drawing that calls out every critical dimension, hole pattern, and clearance so the fabrication team can build with confidence.
What I will give you
• A clearly dimensioned sketch showing core, coils, enclosure, terminals, and mounting points.
What I expect back
• Clean 2-D and/or 3-D CAD model (SolidWorks, Inventor, or comparable) of the complete unit.
• PDF, native CAD, and STEP/IGES files of the assembly drawing, fully dimensioned and toleranced.
Nice-to-have (not required right now): individual part drawings or separate wiring/terminal schedules. If you can add these later, let me know.
Acceptance criteria
1. Dimensions match the supplied sketch.
2. Views, call-outs, and title block are fabrication ready.
3. Files open error-free in SolidWorks 2022.
Include a brief note on similar heavy-electrical equipment you have drafted and which CAD platform you will use. I’m ready to start as soon as I review your approach and timeline.
