I need a certified structural engineer to prepare a complete foundation package for a new industrial-use steel building that will sit on predominantly sandy soil. The structure will house sheds, so the footing system must safely accommodate the point-loads and uniform loads those sheds impose while also meeting local code requirements for wind and seismic forces.

What I expect you to deliver
• Full structural calculations (serviceability and ultimate limit states) showing bearing pressure, sliding, uplift, and settlement checks for sand.
• Foundation layout plan, footing sizes, pier or grade-beam details, and slab-on-grade reinforcement schedules in CAD (DWG) and PDF.
• Anchor-bolt plan coordinated with the steel supplier’s column reactions.
• Clear notes for site prep on sand, including compaction criteria and any recommended soil improvement if bearing capacity is marginal.
• A brief design report explaining assumptions, load paths, codes followed, and safety factors.

Acceptance criteria
1. Calculations are traceable and reference the governing building code my jurisdiction adopts (IBC/ASD 9th or equivalent).
2. Drawings are ready for permit submission and review by a third-party engineer.
3. All dimensions, sections, and callouts match the steel fabricator’s column base plate drawings.
