Industrial Electrical Design Assistance

I’m moving an industrial project from concept into detailed engineering and need a seasoned electrical designer to pick up the load calculations, schematics, and layout work. The scope centres on two areas:

• Power distribution systems – accurate single-line diagrams, cable sizing, panel schedules, short-circuit and voltage-drop studies.
• Control systems – control panel layouts, I/O lists, and wiring diagrams that integrate smoothly with PLC hardware.

I already have general corporate guidelines and typical drawings that outline preferred symbols, layer naming, and drafting conventions; you’ll refine and expand these into full construction-ready documents that comply with NEC/IEC and any site standards we identify together.

Typical deliverables I’ll be looking for:
1. Updated design basis memorandum summarising assumptions and loads.
2. CAD drawings (DWG) with accompanying PDFs.
3. Calculation sheets (Excel or software outputs) showing methodology and results.
4. Bill of materials and device schedules.
5. A short handover note explaining file structure and revision history.

AutoCAD (or equivalent), Solidworks Electrical, and solid knowledge of industrial panel design will make this collaboration smooth. I’ll be available for quick clarifications and weekly design reviews so we can lock milestones and keep the project moving.
