I plan to launch a web-based personal-finance platform designed specifically for Indian retirees. The goal is to give users a clear, stress-free snapshot of their money—covering day-to-day spending, long-term income streams and any age-related obligations—without overwhelming charts or jargon. A clean, mobile-responsive interface with large text and intuitive navigation is essential.
Scope of work
• Build a secure, scalable web application (front-end and back-end).
• Integrate India-specific data sources where possible (banking APIs, pension portals, or CSV import if APIs are unavailable).
• Implement strong authentication, encryption at rest and in transit, and clear consent screens for data access.
• Provide an admin panel so I can update rates, thresholds and content without touching code.
• Deploy to a mainstream cloud platform with CI/CD, automated backups and basic monitoring.
Deliverables
1. Working web app deployed to a staging URL plus hand-off to production.
2. Full, well-commented source code in a Git repository.
3. Brief technical documentation covering setup, architecture and any external services used.
4. A quick-start user guide written for retirees in plain language.
Acceptance criteria
• Page load ≤ 2 s on a 4G mobile connection.
• All sensitive data passes OWASP security checks.
• Interface tested for readability and keyboard navigation.
• No hard-coded keys or secrets in the repo.
If this aligns with your skill set, include a short note on the tech stack you recommend (for example, React + Node, Django, or another combination) and a link to a past finance or senior-oriented project you have delivered.
