I am preparing to bid on upcoming Indian Railways EPC tenders and need an experienced quantity-cost professional to build a reliable pre-tender cost estimate covering both Overhead Electrification (OHE) and Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) works.
The estimate must break costs down into material, labour and equipment so I can see exactly where my numbers sit against market benchmarks. I do not have a house template; instead, I would like you to structure the workbook or report in the format you believe will best support bid pricing—just make sure the logic is transparent and easy to update.
You should already be familiar with Indian Railways SSRs, recent EPC awards and typical vendor rates for conductors, masts, insulators, OFC, axle counters, relays, cables, testing & commissioning, and associated manpower and plant. Where published schedules fall short, please back-up any rate-builds with vendor quotations or verifiable market data.
Deliverables
• An editable spreadsheet (Excel)showing quantity take-off and rate build-ups for OHE and S&T, clearly separated into material, labour and equipment headings
• A short narrative explaining data sources, assumptions, and risk allowances
