Title: E-Commerce Payment Gateway Integration & Technical Setup for Sellwin Store (3 Phases)
Project Overview:
I am launching an online e-commerce brand, Sellwin Store, targeting an initial monthly sales volume of ₹1,00,000 to ₹5,00,000. I currently have individual KYC documents (PAN card and Aadhaar card) and require an experienced e-commerce operations and payment integration specialist to establish a compliant, frictionless payment processing system and prepare the store for live orders.
The project must be executed in three structured phases:
Phase 1: Payment Processor Selection & Merchant Onboarding Setup
- Advise on and assist with rapid digital account setup for settlements using available individual KYC.
- Select and apply for suitable Indian payment gateway/processor accounts (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, Instamojo, or PhonePe PG) that support individual merchants without GST.
- Implement an interim, instant direct-UPI backup collection method (UPI QR / Intent links) to capture payments immediately while formal gateway KYC is reviewed.
Phase 2: Payment Gateway & Storefront Integration
- Fully integrate the approved payment gateway into the Sellwin Store platform (Shopify / custom stack).
- Enable 1-click UPI payments (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, and net banking.
- Configure webhooks, instant payment verification, and automated order confirmation status.
- Conduct live end-to-end sandbox and micro-transaction testing to ensure zero payment drop-offs.
Phase 3: Sales Readiness, Fraud Safeguards & Compliance Handoff
- Implement abandoned cart recovery triggers for dropped payments.
- Configure basic fraud detection, chargeback prevention, and clear refund/cancellation policy integrations required by gateway compliance.
- Test settlement cycles (T+1/T+2 days) and provide documentation/handoff on managing daily payouts and reconciliation.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Indian payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree, Instamojo, PhonePe).
- Experience setting up individual/unregistered merchant accounts compliantly.
- Webhooks and e-commerce platform checkout integration.
