I’m casting a male Indian-English voice for an upcoming commercial spot. The script needs to land with a warm, friendly tone that still feels intelligent and effortlessly composed—think Jim Sarbh in style: slightly deep, textured, distinctive, yet never forced or theatrical.
Key vocal qualities I’m after
• Accent: genuinely Indian English; please avoid an overly neutralised global sound.
• Timbre: rich and mature, but not a booming baritone.
• Delivery: restrained confidence; conversational rather than “announcer.”
Please send:
1. A short introduction of your background.
2. At least two recent samples that show this tonal range (links or attached MP3s).
3. Your typical turnaround time for a 60- to 90-second script.
Final delivery will be a clean, broadcast-ready MP3 (44.1 kHz/16-bit or higher). If you want to share a lightly processed preview first, that’s welcome—just be sure the final file is fully mastered, free of pops, clicks, and background noise.
I’ll shortlist voices this week and share the script with selected talents for a paid test read. Looking forward to hearing your sound.
