I am assembling a small, agile team that can both analyse India’s domestic politics and diplomacy and be ready to travel at short notice to document events as they unfold. Your core brief is two-fold: first, to monitor and interpret shifts in New Delhi’s internal power dynamics and foreign-policy positioning toward its South Asian neighbours; second, to be physically present at key moments—especially political protests, elections, and government actions—gathering verifiable evidence on the ground.

I value reporters with a proven eye for reliable sourcing, but seasoned researchers who can build strong local networks are equally welcome. Fluency in Hindi or regional languages, an understanding of South Asia’s media landscape, and familiarity with tools such as OSINT platforms, GIS mapping, or secure comms apps will all strengthen your pitch.

Deliverables I must receive for each assignment:
• A concise written report (2-5 pages) outlining facts, timeline, and key findings, fully referenced.
• A digital evidence pack that includes field notes, high-resolution photos, short video clips or voice interviews, plus basic metadata (time, location, source).

I will commission work on an event-by-event basis, so please indicate your availability for rapid deployment within India and surrounding countries, along with any press credentials or past investigative pieces you can share.
