Indeed PDF Data Extraction

I have a batch of Indeed personal data sheets—each one a PDF—covering job applications submitted between February 26 and August 26. Every file holds the standard job application details (applicant name, date, position applied for, and any other fields Indeed includes). I need all of that information pulled into a single Excel workbook and sorted strictly by application date so I can filter and analyse the recruiting pipeline without opening dozens of documents.

You are free to rely on Python (tabula-pdf, camelot, PyPDF2), Adobe Acrobat, or any comparable OCR/data-capture tool, provided the final spreadsheet is clean and complete. Misspellings, truncated lines, or date-format inconsistencies will be rejected, so a light manual pass after automation is perfectly acceptable.

Deliverables
• One .xlsx file named “Indeed Applications Feb26-Aug26.xlsx” with every row representing one application, chronologically ordered by the application date.
• If you script the extraction, include the runnable code or macro so I can reuse it later (optional but appreciated).

Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of the PDFs processed; no missing sheets.
• All fields captured exactly as they appear in the source.
• Dates in a uniform format (YYYY-MM-DD) and workbook saved in Excel 2016+ compatible format.
