In-Store Handicraft Sales Rep

I run a boutique that specialises in finely crafted wooden décor and gift pieces, and I’m ready to bring a dedicated in-store sales girl onto the floor. Your day will centre on greeting walk-in customers, guiding them through the story behind each handmade item, and confidently closing sales right at the counter.

Because the work happens face-to-face, proven sales experience is essential—you’ll need to read customer cues, handle objections on the spot, and keep the conversation moving toward purchase. Solid product knowledge is just as important; you should feel comfortable learning about timber types, carving techniques, finishes, and the care each piece requires so you can answer questions without hesitation.

Day-to-day you’ll:
• Engage every guest, introduce key pieces, and upsell complementary items
• Maintain tidy, visually appealing displays between customer interactions
• Record sales accurately in our POS and track daily tallies
• Relay customer feedback so we can refine our inventory and displays
