I’m searching for a patient, knowledgeable tutor who can meet my 7th- to 8th-grade learner face-to-face on a regular basis. The immediate goal is to turn nightly homework into a stress-free routine while building deeper confidence in three core areas: Algebra, Geometry, and Probability & Statistics.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Meet locally for 60- to 90-minute sessions, two or three times a week, at a mutually convenient public location (library or similar).
• Work through current assignments first, then circle back to reinforce any shaky concepts with fresh practice problems.
• Break down abstract ideas—like variable manipulation, angle relationships, or data interpretation—into concrete examples the student can explain back to you.
• Offer quick progress updates so I can track where we’re improving and where extra review is needed.
A background in middle-school math instruction, tutoring, or coaching is ideal, along with an engaging style that keeps lessons interactive rather than lecture-based. If you use visual aids, mini-whiteboards, or digital tools (e.g., Desmos, GeoGebra) during sessions, even better.
Please let me know your availability for an initial trial meeting this coming week and the neighborhood you prefer. I’m ready to start as soon as we find a good match.
