Import Excel Notes to Zoho

I have a leads spreadsheet in Excel and need every customer note moved into Zoho CRM. At this stage I am not sure whether the standard “Notes” area in Zoho will be enough or if custom fields make more sense, so I’d like your guidance before the import begins.

What I’ll hand over:
• The Excel file (one row per customer, note column included)
• Access to my Zoho CRM sandbox or a test view of the live system

What I’d like you to handle:
• Review the sheet, clean or re-format the notes if necessary
• Advise on the best destination in Zoho (standard Notes section vs. creating a custom field)
• Set up any custom field you recommend
• Import the notes so each one sits against the correct lead/contact, with no duplicates or data loss
• Run a short spot-check with me to confirm accuracy, then deliver a quick summary of the steps taken for future reference
