I have one page on our current site that must be changed right away (remove some people from management page)—the site with built with a plug in called "KC Composet". That plug in no longer works and I can't update without it.

Once that is sorted, I want to spend the next three-to-four months moving the entire site to a pure WordPress build, finishing with a full design overhaul on the new platform. The reason for delay is I need to think about the content to put in, and this will take me a few weeks. The structure is fairly simple.

Here’s how I see the work unfolding:

1. Immediate task (ASAP): update the content on the problematic page and confirm it displays correctly on desktop and mobile.
2. Phase-in plan: In discussion with me, set up a clean WordPress environment with a new "structure" (set of pages). Migrate some of the current content (the things still relevant) and then fill the new pages as I am able to write them. Do not care about SEO or anything like that - site is information only.
3. Final launch: once everything is migrated and the new design is approved, switch the domain over and run a quick post-launch check to be sure links, images, and forms behave as expected.
