Image & Video Safety Moderator

I need an experienced trust-and-safety specialist to keep a constant eye on the social media feed I manage. You will be reviewing only user-submitted images and videos, with the single, clear objective of detecting inappropriate content before it is publicly visible.

I will provide a detailed policy handbook that lays out exactly what constitutes nudity, violence, self-harm, hate imagery, exploitation of minors, or any other prohibited material, plus access to our in-house moderation dashboard and a Slack channel for real-time escalations. Accuracy is paramount, but the volume is high, so you’ll also need the speed and judgment that come from prior hands-on experience.

Deliverables
• Continuous review of incoming images and videos, applying the policy in real time
• Instant escalation of anything urgent or potentially illegal
• End-of-day log that lists each item you flagged, the rule it violated, and the action taken

Familiarity with tools such as Google Cloud Vision, Hive, AWS Rekognition, or similar computer-vision aids is a bonus that will let you work more efficiently, though sharp human judgment is the final decision maker.
