About 30 image descriptions (somewhat more than 11, well under 50) for my online learning platform are ready in draft form. Each one accompanies course visuals and must guide screen-reader users smoothly while matching the straightforward tone of the lessons.
What I need:
• A careful read-through of every description, rewriting where necessary so the language becomes concise, vivid, and immediately understandable.
• Preservation of all factual detail already present; this is an editing pass focused on clarity and readability rather than on fact-checking or style-guide overhaul.
• Returned files as a single Word or Google Docs document with tracked changes enabled so I can see each tweak.
Familiarity with alt-text best practices, plain-language principles, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG) will speed the job, but the core requirement is sharp editorial judgment and clean, human-sounding prose.
I will share the draft copy in Google Docs; please send back the edited version within three days of acceptance.
