I am looking for a reliable illustrator and graphic designer for ongoing work across a growing character-based brand, starting with an illustrated A5 spiral notebook.
* Help develop and illustrate additional characters while keeping a consistent style across the range.
* Work with existing artwork and create new illustrations for stationery, products and other brand materials.
* Maintain a soft, washed watercolour look, with gentle colours and smoothly blended backgrounds. New artwork must match this established look consistently.
* Complete notebook page layouts with consistent backgrounds, spacing and fonts.
* Follow manufacturer templates, including bleed, safe margins and space for spiral binding.
* Help prepare clear briefs and reference sheets for plush manufacturers, organising existing character artwork, measurements, colours and production notes. This is assistance with presenting the brief, rather than designing the plush itself.
* Supply print-ready files and editable, layered source files.
* Please share examples of relevant character illustration, watercolour-style artwork, stationery, print layouts and manufacturer briefs.
* Please advise your pricing, included revisions, availability and turnaround times.
I am hoping to build a long-term working relationship with someone reliable, consistent and honest, who communicates clearly, follows briefs carefully and is open about their experience and capabilities.
