IIS & ASP.NET Core Engineer Needed

We are seeking an experienced IIS and ASP.NET Core engineer to troubleshoot, optimize, and stabilize a production application running on Windows Server 2022.

Current Stack:

* ASP.NET Core 8 API
* IIS 10
* SQL Server 2022
* Azure Front Door
* Windows Server 2022 VM
* Azure DevOps CI/CD

Current challenges include intermittent IIS 500.30 startup errors, application pool crashes during traffic spikes, reverse proxy and forwarding-header issues behind Azure Front Door, SSL/HTTPS redirect inconsistencies, high worker-process memory usage, and occasional deployment failures.

Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and resolve IIS and ASP.NET Core hosting issues
* Optimize IIS application pools and server configuration
* Configure ARR, URL Rewrite, reverse proxy, and forwarding headers
* Validate SSL, HTTPS redirects, DNS, and Azure Front Door settings
* Improve application stability and performance under load
* Review CI/CD deployment processes and reduce publishing failures
* Recommend appropriate logging and production monitoring

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience managing real production IIS environments and resolving complex deployment, stability, and performance issues.
