Human-Touch Portrait Retouching

I have a collection of portrait photographs that need a meticulous, hand-crafted finish. The goal is to smooth skin to a highly retouched level, correct overall colour, and subtly enhance or tidy each background—yet keep every file looking like it was perfected by an experienced retoucher, not an algorithm.

Please work directly in Photoshop (or your preferred pro-grade equivalent), using manual techniques such as frequency separation, dodge & burn, selective colour work, and precise masking. I do not want any of the obvious “AI sheen” or one-click filters; every pixel should show the care of individual edits.

Deliverables for each image:
• Layered PSD (so I can review every adjustment)
• 16-bit TIFF or high-res JPG ready for print and web
• A brief note of the key steps you took, so I can keep the look consistent on future shoots
