I have an existing website built entirely in static HTML and I’m ready to shift it to WordPress so I can refresh the look and streamline future updates. My main objective is a noticeably improved design, with special attention on the overall layout and navigation so visitors find what they need quickly and intuitively.

I’ve collected a few reference sites and screenshots that capture the style, flow, and user-journey I’m aiming for. I’ll share these examples as soon as we start so you have a clear visual brief. While those references set the tone, I’m open to your creative interpretation and best-practice advice to make the final result feel unique rather than a copy-and-paste.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Build a WordPress theme (child theme or custom) that mirrors my current content structure while upgrading the layout and navigation.
• Migrate all existing pages, images, and meta data from the HTML version to WordPress, preserving SEO.
• Implement responsive design so the site looks sharp on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Optimise performance (clean code, caching, image compression) to keep load times low.
• Provide a quick walkthrough or short doc on how I can manage pages and menus myself afterward.

You’re welcome to use a page builder such as Elementor or Gutenberg blocks if it speeds up delivery, as long as the back-end stays clean and easy to maintain. If you spot any opportunities to add subtle animations, better calls-to-action, or smart plugins that enhance user experience without bloating the site, let me know and we’ll discuss.

Once the revamped site is live and tested, I’ll consider the project complete. Looking forward to seeing how you can take my static HTML presence and turn it into a polished, flexible WordPress site.
