HR Attendance & Payroll Management System

I need a straightforward personnel platform that lets me stay on top of attendance, leave, and—most urgently—monthly payroll. The core feature I’m after right now is automated payroll calculation with clean, professional payslips for employees who are all on a fixed monthly salary.
Here is how I picture the first release:
• A simple dashboard where I can maintain basic employee profiles (name, position, fixed salary, hire date, status).
• A payroll engine that, at the click of a button, produces the monthly run for every active employee, assigns the appropriate fixed salary, and generates downloadable PDF payslips.
• A light attendance/leave view so I can record days worked or absences manually for reference; deeper clock-in tracking or leave-request workflows could be added later, but they’re not required for this milestone.
I’m open to the stack you feel most comfortable with—whether that’s a Laravel or Django back-end, a lightweight Node setup, or even a no-code approach—so long as the interface is clear, secure, and easy for a non-technical HR officer to use. Database design, source code, and a brief hand-off guide should be included so I can extend the system down the road.
If this sounds like a fit, let’s talk timeline and any questions you have about the data fields or payslip layout.
