I want to take the entire housekeeping workflow out of spreadsheets and paper and let it run itself inside (or alongside) our current hotel management software. We will begin with housekeeping before moving the same logic into the front office and purchasing departments, so whatever you build must be scalable and well-documented.

For this first phase I need three things:

• A scheduler that automatically creates daily room-cleaning rosters, assigns attendants based on occupancy and skill level, and updates in real-time when a guest checks out early or a VIP request comes in.
• Digital cleaning checklists that attendants and supervisors tick off on a phone or tablet, complete with time-stamps and comments so I always know the exact room status.
• Live supply- and linen-inventory tracking that deducts stock as items are issued, warns us when par levels are reached, and pushes a restock request straight to purchasing.

Our property-management system is cloud-based and has an open API, so the solution can be a custom module, a third-party integration, or a lightweight standalone app that syncs back to the PMS—whichever you feel delivers the smoothest experience.

When you reply, please tell me:
• The stack or platform you would use and why it fits a hotel environment.
• Any previous integrations you have completed with hotel PMS, housekeeping, or inventory systems.
• A realistic timeline from kickoff to live deployment—including time for testing and staff training.

Clean code, user-friendly interfaces, and clear hand-over documentation are non-negotiable, because once housekeeping is humming we will rinse and repeat in the other departments. If this sounds like the kind of project you enjoy, let’s talk.
