Honeywell Thermostat Batch Integration

I already pull every reservation detail from our property-management platform into a Home Assistant Green server through reliable APIs and webhooks. The sticking point is pushing temperature set-points back out to the 130 Honeywell Lyric/Resideo thermostats in individual locations. Whenever even one thermostat is adjusted, the cloud service forces a refresh cascade that ripples across the whole fleet.
Today I need two tight, daily batches to succeed without triggering that storm:
• Around midday (any time between 11 am – 2 pm) push one temperature to roughly ten units.
• Late afternoon (4 pm – 6 pm) push another temperature to a different group of ten.
Because guest comfort and energy efficiency carry equal weight here, the updates must land quickly yet avoid the refresh loop that currently overwhelms the devices. If you have already wrestled with the Resideo rate limits, request throttling, or Home Assistant’s climate integration quirks—and won—I want your solution running in my stack.
I’m open to smarter scheduling logic or queueing mechanisms if that’s the only way to guarantee stability; we can revisit broader custom schedules after the core problem is solved. Final acceptance is simple: temperature commands sent from Home Assistant reach the targeted thermostats inside their windows with no mass refresh or service lockout for seven consecutive days, and logs clearly confirm that behaviour.
Message me directly with a brief on how you’ve defeated this exact Resideo limitation before, and we’ll move fast from there.
