Historical Cozy Mystery Ghostwriter for ongoing work

long-running historical cozy crime series - I need a skilled ghostwriter to write the first draft(s). The stories balance a light, often humorous touch with moments of genuine suspense, so I’m looking for someone who can move effortlessly between witty dialogue, intriguing red-herrings, and darker undercurrents—all while weaving accurate period details into every scene. (don't you love generic AI blurb this program has weaved in)

Here’s how the collaboration will work
• I’ll supply everything you need to write the first draft including chapter by chapter templates and historical research. Your job is to write the first draft, not develop plot/characters/research. However, always happy for creative input if it improves the process for both of us.
• You’ll expand that material into a complete first-draft manuscript, NOT shaping the plot, deepening the characters, and flagging any areas where further historical research might be useful.
• Throughout the process we’ll keep an open line for questions, fact-checks, and the occasional brainstorm to be sure the tone stays true to the brand my readers love. (I haven't timer to fight AI - it's about right)

Deliverables
– Full first-draft novel (Google Docs)
– List of primary historical references consulted (shouldn't need much - will be provided - research should already be mostly if not completely done.)

Acceptance criteria
1. A cohesive mystery that can stand alone yet continues existing series arcs.
2. Consistent blend of light humour and credible suspense.
3. Period accuracy on settings, customs, and dialogue—sources cited. (Only if extra material needed - as I said all that work should be done).
4. Manuscript returned proof-read and ready for my developmental pass. And by the deadline agreed - this is not negotiable:)

The work submitted has to be 100% AI free. Not just the actual words but everything about what you do. I am not hiring software. The contract will state this. and will be terminated if this clause is broken. I do not use AI and I will not risk my 'brand' being affected (on infected).

If you're looking for an ongoing job working with someone who knows exactly what they want and is willing to work with you to make it work for both of us ( a lot of 'works' in there), then great. Each contract will be for one book, but I'm looking for someone who wants to commit to at least 3, preferably six.
