About the Opportunity
MotionMint is expanding its post-production team and is looking to onboard 2 experienced Rotoscoping Artists for an immediate, high-volume project with the potential for long-term collaboration.
We currently have 100 short clips ready for the initial production batch, with each clip approximately 7–10 seconds long. Additionally, we have 500+ clips scheduled for delivery this month, creating a consistent pipeline of work for artists who can maintain professional quality while working efficiently.
We're not simply looking for someone who knows how to use Roto Brush. We need reliable artists who can work independently, communicate quickly, meet deadlines, and deliver clean, production-ready mattes consistently.
1. Initial Project Details
Total Clips: 100
Duration: 7–10 seconds per clip
Total Budget: $300 USD
Deadline: 6–7 days
Expected Daily Output: 14–18 completed clips
Hiring: 2 Freelancers
Payment Structure:
$150 upon completion and approval of the first 50 clips.
$150 upon completion and approval of the remaining 50 clips.
The deadline is achievable for an experienced artist who has an efficient workflow and can maintain consistent quality.
2. Long-Term Opportunity – $2,000–$2,800/Month
This is not intended to be a one-time project.
We have 500+ additional clips pending this month and expect production requirements to continue as our enterprise pipeline expands.
Artists who demonstrate the following will be prioritized for ongoing work:
Consistent matte accuracy and clean edge refinement.
Ability to handle 14–18+ clips per day.
Reliable communication and quick coordination.
Ability to meet agreed deadlines without compromising quality.
Professional handling of motion blur, fine hair, and complex edges.
Successful artists will be considered for a recurring monthly arrangement starting next week, with an expected compensation range of $2,000–$2,800 per month, depending on output, quality, and production requirements.
3. Required Skills & Software
Adobe After Effects (Roto Brush 2.0).
Mocha AE.
Silhouette or equivalent professional rotoscoping software.
Advanced masking and matte refinement.
Motion blur handling.
Fine hair and detailed edge extraction.
Experience delivering high-volume video editing projects.
