Hindi Handwritten Book Typing

I have a collection of handwritten Hindi books that I need converted into clean, editable digital files. The task is straightforward: read each handwritten page carefully and type the exact text in Devanagari script, preserving paragraph breaks, headings, and any verse or dialogue structure that appears in the original. Because the source material is entirely handwritten, attention to detail and the ability to decipher varied handwriting styles are essential.

You may work in MS Word, Google Docs, or any Unicode-compliant editor, but the final files must be saved as Word documents (.docx). I am flexible about the specific Hindi keyboard layout you prefer—Kruti Dev, InScript, or phonetic—as long as the output is Unicode and error-free.

To help you estimate effort, I will share a small sample of pages with shortlisted freelancers. Once we agree on the timeline, I will supply high-resolution scans of the remaining pages in batches.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• One Word file per book, formatted to mirror the original chapter and section breaks
• 99 % or higher typing accuracy (I will run random spot checks)
• Unicode Hindi text only—no embedded images or non-standard fonts
