I manage a catalogue that is constantly growing and now calls for thousands of ultra-short, eye-catching motion pieces every single week. Each item—think sizzling biryani, colourful chutneys, or layered desserts—needs a 3-to-5-second MP4 plus a matching GIF that can live on social, web banners, and in-app carousels.
Core visual treatment
• Steaming effects that feel natural, rising realistically from the dish.
• Subtle utensil interaction—spoons scooping, forks twirling, ladles swaying.
• Slow, seamless rotation of the frame or plate to reveal every angle.
• Additional props or micro-animations added where the product demands it.
Audio
Light background music, perfectly looped to those 3-5 seconds and cleared for commercial use.
Current menu focus
Side dishes and desserts make up the immediate backlog, with more categories likely once the pipeline is solid.
Throughput expectations
A minimum of several thousand clips per week, so an assembly-line mindset, template mastery, and strong rendering capacity are essential. Automation and batch-processing know-how (After Effects, Premiere scripting, FFmpeg, or similar tools) will be a huge plus.
Deliverables per SKU
1. 1080×1080 (1:1) MP4, 3–5 s, ≤5 MB
2. Optimised GIF, same framing, ≤2 MB
3. Source project file (AE/Premiere) neatly organised and named
4. Royalty-free music file and usage confirmation
Acceptance criteria
• Loop is seamless; no visible jumps.
• Steam, utensil, and rotation timings stay in sync for the full loop.
• Colours remain true to the reference photo.
• Final assets meet size limits without artefacts.
Turnaround: 48 h from asset drop, scaled as we grow.
If this workflow matches your capacity, share a short demo run (one side dish, one dessert) that ticks the boxes above so we can lock in the first weekly batch. Quote based on 1000 item of this.
