I’m building a microservices-based platform and I need several core components written in Go with performance as the top priority. The immediate scope covers an ultra-fast API gateway, a lightweight service-discovery layer, and a cluster of high-concurrency services that can scale horizontally without degrading latency.

You’ll work directly against clearly defined latency and throughput targets and will be free to leverage Go’s native concurrency patterns, efficient I/O, and any proven libraries that keep the footprint small and the throughput high. Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration readiness (Kubernetes-friendly manifests) should be baked in so the components can drop straight into our existing CI/CD pipeline.

Deliverables
• Production-ready source code for the API gateway, service-discovery component, and high-concurrency services
• Dockerfiles and minimal Helm or Kubernetes YAMLs for each service
• Unit tests plus a small load-test suite demonstrating the performance gains
• Brief setup & run guide (Markdown is fine)

All code must be idiomatic Go, well-documented, and benchmarked to prove the optimisation work.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Golang (Go) development
Strong experience with distributed systems
Experience building high-concurrency services
Good understanding of VPN technologies and networking concepts
Experience with Linux/Unix-like systems (NetBSD experience is a plus)
Strong English communication skills
Must be a US Citizen or Canadian Citizen
Project Details:
Development language: Golang, C++
Platform: NetBSD OS, Linux
Focus areas: VPN, networking, distributed systems, and performance optimization

Remark: Bid have to begin exactly with “I’m Citizen”.

Don't bid not Citizen.
