High-Accuracy Text Extraction From Images

I have a set of images that contain nothing but text, and I need every character captured exactly as it appears. Accuracy is critical—I will be comparing your work against the originals, so please only move forward if you are comfortable handling faint print, unusual fonts, and the occasional skewed scan.

Your job is simple in scope but detail-oriented: open each image, transcribe the text verbatim (keeping punctuation, line breaks, headers, and footers intact), proof it carefully, and return a clean, searchable version. When a word is unreadable, bracket it with [illegible] so I can review later.

You are free to combine manual typing with OCR tools such as Tesseract, ABBYY FineReader, or Adobe Acrobat—whatever helps you hit 100 % accuracy.

Deliverables
• A separate text or Word file for every image supplied
• A brief log noting file names and any [illegible] flags

The image pack (under 50 pages) will be delivered immediately after award, and a two-day turnaround should be comfortable. I respond quickly to questions and will release payment as soon as I confirm the transcription is spotless.
