I create a steady stream of avatar videos in HeyGen and now need a Make.com scenario that takes each finished file, schedules it, and publishes it automatically. The flow I have in mind is:
• Trigger: new or approved video in my HeyGen workspace (via the HeyGen API or a webhook).
• Routing: send the video to YouTube first and, if possible, to Instagram Reels as well. I’m happy for you to propose the best Make.com modules or custom API calls for Instagram since it isn’t natively listed.
• Timing: allow me to choose specific dates/times or apply a default delay (e.g., publish the next morning at 9 a.m.).
• Metadata: populate title, description, tags/keywords, and custom thumbnail automatically. I keep this information in a Google Sheet; the scenario should pull the matching row and push the data during the upload step.
• Logging: return each run’s status (success, error, video URL) to a tab in that same sheet so I have a simple audit trail.
Deliverables
1. A fully working Make.com blueprint I can import.
2. Any custom scripts (if required) and the API credentials fields clearly marked.
3. Short Loom or PDF walkthrough showing how to add new channels, tweak the schedule, and update the metadata sheet.
Acceptance criteria: I can toggle the scenario on, drop a new video in HeyGen, and see it appear on YouTube with the correct description, tags, and chosen thumbnail—plus a row written back to the log sheet—without manual intervention.
